So I'm just over 1 month into the ownership of my first SLR. Im getting the hang of it and some good comments on some of my pics from the POTW threads so i thought id put a set together. In particular im looking for some advice on how I can improve my shots! Critics are welcome

Very colour series of images.

The first one is very cool. The spinning motion makes a great image.

Nice set, compositionally they are very good, colour's good, exposure's good. I look forward to seeing more.

All look great to me. That next to last one reminds me of Star Trek TNG, The Borg. "Resistance is Futile"!

what were your settings for the first picture?

first photo was with the kit lens - DA 18-55 AL II @ 18.0mm, f22.0, 1/20s shutter, low speed continuous (1.2fps i think?) shot in jpeg (so it would keep continuous 1.2fps), on a tripod, 50 images which i stacked together using AutoPano Pro (bit of a weird way of stacking i know) blended using linear and then just cropped and levels adjusted in picasa

Great series, I like the architectural composition =) I'm still learning how to properly shoot buildings without using just a wide angler
