OK, you may have seen my recent posts where I put the +6 rings on my FA50/1.4 to play with macro shots. Well, I decided to try using a step down ring and use the closeup rings on my 18-55 kit lens. I had fun with this as well, as I could adjust the zoom and get different looks at things. Here are some of my shots. So, if you just have the kit, get some rings and play with macros. Really great shots! I like the second and last shots. What tree is this?

The second one is an apple blossom. It will give me some nice green apples later on this year. The others are from a tree in my neighbors yard, that I have to lean over my fence to shoot. I should introduce myself and ask what kind of tree it is.
