Liking the k100d. Have the k20d packed up and waiting payday to send it off to get fixed up. Ahh.
Finding getting use to the k100d pretty easy once I read the manual.
Missing the off camera flash more than the extra control wheel. Control wise it feels good and I am getting use to it. Take pictures every day while up on campus.
I am into midterm season and will be free this weekend to process the backlog. I have about 50 good shots from a shoot with 3 aerialists. The location had terrible lighting but as a learning it was great. looking forward to posting some from that soon. Need to learn how to be more directive. Doing homework on this by preparing a shot list for next time.
This photo is from a local club. More of a rock show than i like these days and I "wasn't feeling it." This one came out well. Spun it through Ps for noise clean up and sharpening. Trying to learn to go minimalist on those two filters. Looking for any advice on workflow and strategy in going after a photo that will be a project. Mostly order of operations. Noise reduction first, sharpening last? that is what i do. What about going from Lr to Ps and back... do you apply noise reduction or sharpening in Lr? I'll ask that and some more over in the software forum after mid terms....
Here's the shot:
