Couple More from Salt Lake and one for Jer
Posted By: Jimbo, 02-13-2009, 04:32 PM

Here are a couple of more from this week. [they are not the same as earlier posts] I change area and PP set up. The boat is one I keep going back to and since Jer had not seen a boat picture from me in awhile, I decided to re-shoot one today. JIM

Beautiful place! I love the second shot the most... I wish we had mountains here. I'll have to see how much they cost to be built

These are quite good. Like them better than the first set. They have more ambience and mood, particularly the second shot.

Links to the first two pictures as I think the compressed versions do not give the picture justice. I rarely do this unless I see a big difference on the originals. The first picture was done with my trusty Pentax 12-24 and the other with my second favorite lens the Sigma 70-200. JIM

Thanks Chris. I put a link to the full version as I thought the compressed versions did not due to photo's justice. JIm

Hey JIM. These mountains shots are really dramatic - they've got a kind of "punch" that I like a great deal.

The boat shot (thanks, buddy) is a classic - the reflection makes the picture very nice. You've done a lot with this boat and the floating boat house under various conditions. I've enjoyed them all and it shows how you see different things a different times with the same subject. Keep 'em coming.

Thanks Jer. I am taking a day off next Wed to just shoot pictures. I will see what I can do for your boat shots. Cheers JIM

Awesome mountains. Beautifully shot.
It would be great to have mountain scenery like that. Something that doesn't exist here.
