B&W foggy PP trials
Posted By: kurt, 02-14-2009, 01:17 PM

Hi,

After having a short visit to hospital (small surgery) and now having a 3 week sick leave, I have some time to play ... Little bit more of PP what I normally do

A riverside with trees (Vantaa-river)

My normal route with the dog.

The river and horses ... I think you have seen the place in autumn

The Vantaa-river

Cheers,

Kurt, nice work. How did you handle the B&W conversions?

Major tool is LightZone (LightCraft), but now I am testing the Nik Softwares Silver Efex Pro-plug in for Aperture. It looks promising ... LightZone is really a great tool.

Superb images. But I am partial to the first image, the trees appear majestic and graceful.
The last image, isn't that more a reflection?

Thanks JMR! The first one is a panorama of four portrait shots and then b&w conversion and some tweaking. The last one has some solarization and yes, the lower half is showing the reflections of the riverbank.

Beautiful work Kurt, that first one almost looks like a wood carving.
