Although I like the colours in these I think you were either too close or too far away depending on what look you were trying to achieve.
By that I mean that you were too close for them to be easily identifiable as leaves but too far away for them to be considered abstract.
Hope that made sense.

That's a thought, Gary. While considering this I tromboned and worked the framing. I liked that they were leaves. I liked that they were leaves from plants I grew in my house. I liked the colors. More abstract... Just need to crop up... Or do what I did in the first one. Focus down a tunnel. Others on site are further out and clearly leaves on my kitchen counter.

Next time I have a flat black board and will set them there. tight snoots. Remote flashes. Perfect combination with my studies. Bored take photos. Need a brake go study... or the other way around!
