Jim: yes, I am still experimenting (ie. checking which lens do focus correctly as the IR filter on the sensor has an impact), but I am now awaiting spring which should bring more possibilities for IR photography.

I've always scratched my head wondering what could cause me to want to rip the IR filter off a perfectly good DSLR only to get what I refer to as "ice world" shots. Now I get it.
