I very much like the first image, Joni. The foreground leaning grass gives the snow an interesting and graceful secondary motif and the continued line leads the eye through the image.

That are two very good photographs Joni but the first one is superb. Thanks for posting them.

I concur.

1st one is definitely a nicer shot - the line of wheat (is it wheat?) bisecting - also good snow detail in foreground.

What I would like to see though is some of the "blue" taken out of the snow to see how it looks then

Thanks Dylan! Maybe i will test how it looks with less blue on the snow.
The name of those true grasses in Latin is Phalaris arundinacea.
