Birds and more Birds
Posted By: Jimbo, 02-16-2009, 10:44 PM

Went out again today and took these shots. Man are these birds quick. I first one was shot ar 1000 sec trying to catch one flying off which ended up blending into the background. I had over 50 that were trashed because I couldn't get the birds taking off. JIM

Jim, I really like the first one. It looks like the In Focus bird in the foreground is standing in front of a painting of one of its relatives, clever effect.

An other vote for #1!! Great momentum, and like James said the composition and time has some dramatic mood.

Thanks Scott. I have been using birds to improve on my image sharpness. They can be extremely tricky to take at times. I also tend to go on 2-3 week themes. [water reflections / mountain shot / birds / etc] Now I am buying bird seed to carry with me. JIM
