On a trip to Tucson, and today visited a great little zoo.

that lens performs well. (As does the photographer!) I like the mood of each photo, your composition is in harmony with each animal.

Thanks guys!
The day was great for photography, with some cloud and sunny breaks.
All the shots were not really processed other than with a few Picassa Teaks as I do not have my computer with me.
I will be posting more as I go along!

While you're in Tucson, make sure you head out to the Sonora Desert Museum west of town. Well worth it! I have relatives in Tucson and went out one afternoon while visiting... Also check out Sabino Canyon park (hiking trails, road walking, trams some times) for great picture opportunities.

Great pics from the zoo.

Stunning shots. Beautiful colours and well focussed closeups. A great promoter for the 55-300. An underrated lens in some circles, but, for me, a great lens for its price.

Great photos, Brendan! I really love the one with the giraffe looking straight at your lens, and then the colourful bokeh background.
