I wish I had a longer lens, but for the now I have to do what I can with the K 500mm. Today I took a few moon shots during the day, and to my surprise they turned out much better than those taken late at night.

The pics are attached below: the first is a normal shot showing the color of the sky, the second was at 700mm (A 1.4x-L converter), and the third at 850mm (F 1.7x converter).

Mo, to me the second one seems more punchy than the third. No retouching at all other than the resizing?

The second is unedited since I felt the bluish look worked well, but I desaturated the third one all the way.

Hi Mo. I like the first shot as there is richer colour there. The moon is different from the rest I have seen.

1.4L is really a gem, isn't it?

Yeah, you can't even tell a converter was used by the IQ! If everything goes well I'll also be getting a 2x-L to see it it matches up to the standard.
