Fun shots, red. How did you do the blocking(?) in LR? I'm still getting my legs with the app and curious.

Hi thank you!
well the 31mm is great exactly for that kind of portraits more then any thing.
its so easy with this lens I can only imagine the results if having good lights
in light room I went one by one . changed the WB to greenish, pushed up contrast and blacks. and pushed down the exposure a little. then in PS 3 I added the borders and the the black square just for fun and added grain .
on the second one I tried to make her eyes green (originally blue) but I think it looks like too much

you don't have to... light room is fantastic.
PS is limitless.
but for that stuff you could get the very basic PS. or an older version you could also use GIMP the free PS
at the end PS is still my main PP format I am used to it and it is really endless. worth every penny especially if you are doing a lot of photography.
I even think that mastering PS at the end saves you money on cameras , lenses, lights and filters. you can do a lot of the stuff an expensive lens is doing in post .
so when you think about it like that the $400 is really not a big deal

Cool idea - like the contrasted frame in a frame concept.

Well when I highlighted this thread title, I amost did not stop in because I imagined some weird shots of a female actually clipping her toe nails.

But I am glad that is not the case. Interesting squared highlights.
