Too Early
Posted By: Jimbo, 02-19-2009, 07:45 PM

Ok, the first three were shot early this morning. I sat around from 5:30 to 6:30 waiting for the sun to break. There was fog moving in too which made it a little more difficult with the longer exposures. This is the oldest lighthouse in WA, so I was told. This would be a better shot later in the day. The mountain I got on the was home along with the dark pond shot. Cheers JIM

Jim, Nice job, I like 2 and 3 best.

Where was the lighthouse at. I think I need to pay a visit.

Was this in Ilwaco, Cape disappointment?

John

Hasville Wa. You need to take the Edmonds Ferry over. Thanks for commenting John. The mountain shot is on the way to Baker. JIM

Great pictures of a beautiful part of the Pacific NW. I love the Lighthouse silhouette. You should blow it up, frame it and hang it in your house!

Appreciate the comments Susan. There is not enough time in the week to do everything I want to do. Into birds lately.. don't know why. Landscape is the favorite and there is so much more to do there. Cheers JIM

Oh the boat shot is my fave

The reflection in the water is like a painting... The others are beautiful shots too, I am just a sucker for water/boats and reflections and that one does all three well.
