Well, I'm glad you stopped there

Very nice colors, much brighter captures than the ones I got on my 2 trips to Maine...

Thank you Jim, it varies from year to year and I thought the colors were good last fall. Than I met a van load of photographers and they were disappointed saying that the colors had been much better in previous years. So go figure.

Take care,

Yes Heinrich, with your skill you have shown how beautiful Maine can look even in the rain. As you probably know, soft rain can produce beautiful light and moody images. My favourite is the first with the benches reflecting the overcast sky and giving off a silvery shimmer that beautifuly balances the sky.

I love how you've exploited the cloudy weather to produce such rich colors - they make you feel calm and satisfied (even without the beer currently at my elbow). You really can make a camera sing, Heinrich.

Thank you for the kind words JMR, it was a pain in the butt keeping the mist of the lens.

Take care,

Thanks for these very nice shots. Maine is an awesome state to shoot in--you must have had a great time. Whereabouts in Maine is this little treat?

Breathtaking images Heinrich. You never cease bringing a different part of the country to our living rooms. That first image makes me want to take a seat and enjoy the view.
