New Bird shots
Posted By: Jimbo, 02-23-2009, 12:18 PM

I can't seem to get away from bird shots lately. The second one is a re-post with a different crop after getting help from Marc. Its like these damn Herons are attracted to me because they allow me to get so close which is extremely rare. JIM

Too funny on the Jay comment. I love the colors though. On the Heron shot I feel it may be one of my best. Marc gave me a couple of shooting tips and then one tip on the PP [cropping] I still can't believe how close I am getting to these Herons. Cheers and thanks Gary. JIM

Great shots. I wish I had such cooperative models!

So, do you have to walk out in the mud to get these shots?

Thanks Georg. I get on these roles and right now its my bird kick. I find them interesting as they are hard to take good pictures of so it helps me work on my steadiness. JIM
