Humber Bay Park
Posted By: JMR, 02-24-2009, 01:51 PM

In the past I have posted images from two of Toronto's big parks, Scarbough Bluffs and High Park. Today I am posting images from Humber Bay Park, which despite its name, is not situated on the mouth of the Humber River. Instead it sits at the mouth of Mimico Creek. Many boats used to be moored in the little coves and you can get some of the best skyline views of Toronto from this park. Here are just a few images. You can see the skyline in the other thread.

You know, after reading your comments, I suddenly noticed the far right boat is the same as one moored against the lighthouse on my thread of Boats and lighthouse at twilight. So thanks for the comments and jogging my conciousness.

Amazing colours in the sunset photo! That last one is my favourite though - so balanced and moody, gives peace!

Beautiful color in the first two posted here. The last image is very appealing to me for it's muted tones.
