I was inspired to take a picture of my sweet pup yesterday. While I prefer dogs, others prefer cats, so feel free to post your favorite shot of either in reply.

Great photos everyone, really enjoy seeing that so many pet owners here!

This one - Tishka, unfortunately we lost him to leukemia, though he did live a long life, and we enjoyed his company for nearly 14 years (ever since we picked him up from a local shelter)... To bad that is the only image I have of him - old p&s camera on the remote server, HD crashed few years ago =(

How ever did you choose such a name

? In hebrew it means both animal/beast and alive/living in female tense. She certainly seems to fill both criteria... I like the french bulldog photo best though...

Crazy Pierre is probably the funniest shot I have seen. Reminds me of my insane cat oddly named "Precious". One of the sweetest shots is of Pierre and friends.
