Agree -- first one is great! Just needs the horizon straightened.

You know, one problem with the Grand Canyon is that in some locations the horizon isn't horizontal. So do you straighten it out, or do you leave it as sloped as it is?

Beautiful shots, awesome scenery.
Regarding the horizon, I didnt notice it at all. If thats the way it runs, leave it.
I always think it is only necessary to be 100% accurate when shooting the horizon on the sea.
In other cases, topography can be very misleading.

Great shots, love the touches of snow included.

the first picture is very appealing, love the way the tree catches your attention in the foreground, then leaves you with that breathtaking scenery. great shot

Thank you everybody! The minute I saw the first pic full size on my monitor I knew it was special. I must give credit to my girlfriend, as she suggested the composition, just as we were about to leave. Your comments were overwhelming and much appreciated. I'm really enjoying my K200D and hope to be sharing more pics to this great community here at Pentax Forums. Thanks again!
