Here are some random downtown photos from the other day. Any comments/suggestions are more than welcome- Still learning the K10D and DSLR photography (at least, I hope so)!

Giant asparagus and tomatoes at the Tampa Art Museum

The whole time, I was just dying for a fisheye!

I liked the second photo best.

I like the use of lighting in the first and last shots - it was very strong and I liked how it was used.

The sepia conversion on the church was good.

Did you shoot the skateboarder shot at 1600 or 800?

I very clumsily shot it at 400, I was in the most akward spot. If you look where the tubular railing is, above those 3 rectangular lights... my camera was resting on the cement part (on the opposite side of the stairs, of course), and the pop-up flash was blocked mostly by the railing and the cement in the foreground... I couldn't quite get my camera placed where I wanted. Oh well.

Thanks for the comments!

I liked the B&W church picture best.
Do you think it might have been better with a blurred (moving) vehicle at the lower left to central part of the picture? Or worst? I don't know really...
Nice pictures like most of the others at Flickr.
Thanks for sharing.

Hey there, bc_the_path,

Yes! In fact, I definately think it would be better with a blurred vehicle. Actually, I almost posted one from a different angle, including a blurred vehicle, I really liked the blurred vehicle in the photo, but I liked the rest of the comp on the pic I actually chose, better...

Hi Hana. I like the photo with tomato and asperagus the best.

The last shot has a nice tone and you are right, fish eye might even transform the photo into something even more interesting!

Very nice, I like the apple one. That's the biggest asparagus I've ever seen

Thank you, and that asparagus was even more intimidating in person!
