It was clear for a while so I grabbed a shot of Orion. At least part of it, the whole thing wouldn't fit in the 50mm frame.

f/2.4, 6s, 400 ISO.

Thanks gawan and roentarre. It was cold last night so the 2sec delay was a must!

There is a bit of PF in the main stars of Orion but, I think it almost adds to it. Next time its clear I'll stop down a bit f/2.8 or 3.2, try multiple shots and stack them.

Surprisingly clear long exposure. Lovely astrophotography. One of my weaknesses.
