pheasant hunt
Posted By: reknelb, 04-02-2007, 05:41 PM

I went on a pheasant hunt and left the gun at home. Was pretty tough to get the shots. Fast action, cloudy day. Had to bump the iso up to get the shutter speeds and apperture I wanted.

That second shot is right on the spot. Nice photos. Was it hard to just be watching?

Cheers

I think I enjoyed shooting the dslr instead of the 12 gauge. Here are a couple more.

After seeing the first set only, I was going to say there must be a dog flushing those ducks out, then I saw the second set. I've never seen them flying so low when hunting. Great action shots, I'm sure your buddies are very pleased.

Nice captures, and I bet the guys were happy to be working behind a good dog. Nice looking over and unders too.

She did a really good job, she is a great waterfowl retriever too. It was a great day! I believe they were shooting browning? citori shotguns? i'm not an over and under guy, I could be wrong.
