What with standby for work every weekend, depot standby weekdays, and standby for matters maternal, I've not managed to get out much. This morning the lad and I went for a walk in the drizzle at Point Addis Marine National Park.
Found a blue-ringed octopus caught next to a rock pool. It was really not that happy about macro modeling for me. The blue rings are quite pronounced. I did not have a proper macro with me, would have loved a close up of the rings.
Needless to say like most brightly coloured fauna here, a bite can be lethal.
