A birds nest with eggs
Posted By: Rense, 03-01-2009, 07:24 AM

Well, sort of. It's a propagation organ of a liverwort, a kind of moss. The "eggs" in the bowl are fired when it's hit by waterdrops, for instance when it's raining. This gets the plant round the difficult and tricky process of sex

Macro-Tak 50/4 + extension tubes @ f/22, ISO400, 1", +1/2EV
