Driving around Bland county, VA.... criticisms please
Posted By: Javaslinger, 03-01-2009, 01:51 PM

Some shots with my K20D and the 18-55 II kit lens... I'm a rookie some please feel free to offer suggestions regarding composition, exposure, post-processing - you name it! These are shot in RAW with no post processing other than export by Lightroom 2... Oh, it does apply some camera preset adjustment I got off the forums here...

The are all shot the same day and in chronological order... some weather deterioration...

Last one is my personal fave...

Thanks,

Ken

I love that last one as well - I think I dream about this place. Is there a road to the right behind that yonder hill?

you hold the detail and the scenes are very well lit. The county's not named Bland for the photography anyway...

Nice series especially number two and four. Personally I would do some PP on them, colour adjust, light and contrast but they are good as they are.

Very nice series. And it's true, the county is not named for the scenery that's for sure.
