A few more golf shots (SHO)
Posted By: rfortson, 04-02-2007, 08:50 PM

I posted some shots earlier last week of the practice round of the Shell Houston Open. I finally got around to going through the other shots and here are a few more. These were all taken with the K100D and the SMC300mm f/4.0, handheld.

He missed...

...and finally, a few of the spectators...

I like the 7th one where you caught the swing and the ball is already in flight. You're going to be running out of cash at this rate buying a whole bunch of frames

#5, getting out of the trap. In that one, I can admire your skill in capturing it in action and his skill for actually getting out in one stroke. (I try to avoid those nasty traps).

Ha ha! Yeah, the 4th shot could be me, except the ball actually made it out of the trap. If it WAS me, the ball would have only moved a few feet (or about 50 yards if I caught it thin).

Great shots Russ.

If it were me playing, nothing would have moved but the sand.

When I played Golf, I never could figure out if I was having the most fun I'd ever had or was involved in the most frustrating thing I'd ever done. I gave up trying to figure out which.

I no longer play the game.

Ed

(edit)

My favorite Golf saying. "I'm always looking to improve my game. So far, I've looked in the sand trap, the rough and the water hazard."
