Aspiring Pianist

Went to my dad's church and after service, we stayed behind for lunch (the Japanese church here does a once a month lunch gathering for its members). In the small auditorium, they had a couple of pianos tucked away in the corner and my daughter immediately jumped on the bench and methodically started to play. Unlike most 2.5 year olds, she plays with a very deliberate motion, carefully fingering the keys like she sees her brother do during his lessons.

I'll break ranks and say I like the 2nd one- looks like she's singing and really enjoying herself!

Its a great shot. and the natural lighting with some fillin from the white areas (keys) has created beautiful model lighting.

I like both shots, the first so poised and serious, the second she looks as if she is having fun. With such of a great subject how can one be wrong, both photos are great, thanks for sharing.

The first shot has a lot of drama in it. Excellent capture and this is a photo to keep for many years to come.

I like the second one. It's more dynamic. Look, she's "singing" along with the song.

I agree with the first shot having a lot of emotion. Great job on both.

Both are fine. The first is maybe more eye-catching to begin with, but the 2nd has more depth.
