Broken dreams

KХ+ FA 20-35/4. I like as a lens takes off against light. A daily star turned out. More precisely "death under Star." Sorrowfully.

This is a powerfull image, drmartin! I just love the strong contrast. It fits the sad mood of the photo....

Really coarse texture and budy there. Powerful image in deed.

Looks rather dark on my monitor. I can see some backlighting on the branches, but as is, the lighting on the tree does not look like a true backlit scene. Simliarly, the reflection in the boat is very dark and almost unrecognizable. But perhaps the scan and/or the process cannot do justice to the strong contrast in this otherwise good image. I know your other images are excellent, so this is likely the case.

Great B&W, the boat. tree, and sun just pop out and grab your attention and draw you in. The single leaf on the branch seems to be holding on. I enjoy all your photos and processing, thanks for sharing.

I mean the light around the tree does not stand out or look like it should. The light is coming from behind the tree and should glow a bit and look like a halo, but it looks more washed out. This is a very dificult image to process because of the extreme contrast. The reflection in the boat looks solarized and hard to see.

I understood now! White halos round branches - it, certainly, lack of my work. How to execute it I do not know high-quality. On a paper picture into the boat of pasteurization it is not. Moisture glitters there. All details are visible. A boring, coloured image it wanted to dramatize, it was therefore necessary to lift a contrast and lose quality of image, but I think that turning out drama is better than boring, coloured imprint
