Singing the praises of the 35mm LTD macro
Posted By: SouthShoreRob, 03-02-2009, 03:37 PM

Haven't been posting much lately - a new baby will do that to you - but here are few shots of the very impressive DA 35mm LTD macro. I have used this lens for everything from landscape to bugs to portraits to ice hockey. Very versatile lens to say the least.

First with the *ist DS, a praying mantis...

Now with the K20D, my daughter's earring...

and another K20D, icedrops on the roof of my GTP

Thanks for looking, comments welcome.

Nice purchase. The DA35 is wonderful lens. I like the last image...I'm a fan of patterns of the moment. Enjoy the lens and congrats on the new addition to the family.

Nice series Rob - I don't need that lens - really I don't (then again what does need have to do with it!)

Thanks all. Indeed I just find this to be such a versatile lens in every way. And then, to cap it all off, I can push it up tight - REAL TIGHT - to the subject and make a macro out of it. It's like having your cake and eating it too, lol.

What the hell good is cake if you can't eat it?

I hate looking at your pictures! The LBA starts to swell up inside my brain.

I really like the results of this lens, but ...... ARRRGH! ..... I can't afford it right now.

Damn you!

Nice read on the 35mm.

An Optical Paragon - photo.net

They really make the lens sounds like the bees knees!
