some first time bird shots

it snowed like crazy yesterday here in Richmond VA, and with work being closed I thought Id go outside for some pictures

I used a Tamron AF 70-300mm for all of these photos. This is my first attempt at taking photos of birds, Please tell me what you think

excellent !
i have a little homesick by reason of your pics
my hometown -shenyang (northeast city of china)still fall snow now.
but ,
shanghai was falling the ****ing rain all the time more than 20 days !

god help me !
