Play with light
Posted By: vizjerei, 03-03-2009, 06:09 PM

Bored at home with weather is freezing outside. Great time to take some mini studio shot to try out some different lighting.

very well at it...thanks for sharing love both of 'em!!! In #1 that green pulp is full of life and grow out of a shrively desaturated root(?)...and the shadow in #2 is really interesting...blue? resulted from WB and flash?

Thanks, the green pulp grow out from ginger, just pp off the color of the root and the shadow of the flower is caused by color gal light.

Two compelling pictures. the first one just grabs my attention. Like the green emerging from BW. Yes winter has been long and looking for any image that will inspire spring

Nice shots, I really like the ginger root one. The use of mono and color is stellar, it really inspires and challenges me to look for this possibility in my own work. Well done and thanks for sharing.

Very nice, Victor. The first one is very interesting with the selective use of color. The second one, I like the way you cast the shadows on the wall.

Personally I like the flower shot better as it is a new direction for me. The ginger has the pro look but that style is kinda everywhere... well I will continue on learning lighting with small object until I have enough to invest on light kit.. hehe

I like them both. The second with the blue shadows is excellent. Nice work!
