My little friends with M 135mm f/3.5 lens
Posted By: artistcjconrad, 03-05-2009, 04:31 PM

These little buggers live in a park not far from my home. Every once in a while I go there with some nuts to feed them, specially in the winter. I never had a chance to use this lens outdoor since I got it last June. Couple days ago I went to the park with the K20D and the lens to take some pictures of these little guys. I tell you, it’s not easy to take pictures of squirrels with a manual focus lens. They just move too fast to lock focus on them. Once they get the nuts in their hands and settle down to eat, then you get a chance to take pictures. The pictures were taken in jpeg, 6mp resolution. Did some PP in photo shop, Mainly brightness, contrast and saturation. They always make me smile, I hope you enjoy the pictures.

Nice series, Rupert will have something to say about it I'm sure!
About the lens, I'm picking up this very lens tomorrow. The M 135mm f/3.5 is in mint condition according to the seller.

Few more pictures

Here are few more pictures of those cute little things. For some reason, these little buggers fascinate me. It's a lot of fun just watching them anyway.
Lens is the same, M 135mm f/3.5 and some PP done. The last one is my favourite.
