The Door to Shadow Land
Posted By: Sailor, 03-05-2009, 05:22 PM

Well, actually it's the side door to our garage shot during late afternoon, but given all of the junk that's piled up in there over the years, I guess the place should be called Danger Zone rather than Shadow Land.

Looks pretty cool. It is uncanny that yesterday I was about to shoot a similar shot of my bathroom door. Only I was going to include the door knob. Now I am motivated and will wait for the light to strike.

Thanks, gents. It's amazing what subjects a person will take when they have NLS.*

Nice capture Jer. Simple, but very adequate and beautifull.

Stay out of that garage

I like it, the strong shadows and contrast make this photo powerful!

I also like the contrast. I also like the simple composition. Have you considered entering it in the PPG?

What a kind suggestion! I'm flattered.

Actually, I've emailed PPG twice to get info on submissions but never got a reply; I'm guessing that they monitor this forum and when emails with my name on them show up, they start laughing and troop off to the local bar (to paraphrase Click and Clack, the Tappet Brothers).

Seriously, Cindy. I appreciate your very kind words.
