A month ago, this Japanese maple was burnt by a few days of temperatures over 40C plus strong, dry wind. We thought we were going to lose the tree. But nature is strong. The first new growth started to appear about 10 days ago.

Green is such a wonderful color, especially this time of the year in New York. Nice capture of the old and the new. Life carries on.
