Thank you very much.
Originally posted by JMR The moon distracting? Not for me. The haziness of the moon gives the overall image a "night time" quality which is ethereal, in addition to a great achitecture shot. These are great shots, and the first and last are outstanding IMO.

Thanks for your comments. I see your point regarding the moon, maybe it is better with the moon in the shot.
Originally posted by daacon I like them all Frank - time well spent. The Bay Bridge is favorite. It's one of the few bridges I have not actually crossed in the Bay Area.
Thanks, Dave. Next time you're in the Bay Area, let me know and we'll take a drive on the bridge out to Treasure Island.
Originally posted by axl nice shots, but the bridge shot wins it by a mile, fantastic shot
Thank you.
Originally posted by cardinal43 Love the first one with and without the moon. Were these part of your "homework" for your class? You are still taking a class, right?
Yes, I am still taking the photography classs and I took these shots for my homework. Currently our assignment is color. We have two things to focus on - one is bright color, the other is muted or monochromatic color - but not black and white. One of my bright color shots I posted here
https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/post-your-photos/53307-orange.html For muted or monochromatic color, I decided to try night photography. Colors are more muted at night and I think pic number 4 is a good example of what the instructor is looking for. We have to turn in 20-25 shots for the assignment - and to get that many shots to turn in, I'll have to take several hundred shots.

Originally posted by vievetrick Great series. I love night shooting and do not do it nearly enough. Great job!!
I also like night photography - the class I'm taking is a good excuse to go out at night and hopefully improve my technique.
