Night in San Francisco

I got these shots near the Embarcadero in San Francisco

Not your typical moon shot


San Francisco - Oakland Bay Bridge

I looked at the first shot some more and thought the moon was too distracting. Here's the same shot with moon removed using PS Elements 7.0.

I like them all Frank - time well spent. The Bay Bridge is favorite. It's one of the few bridges I have not actually crossed in the Bay Area.

Thanks for your comments. I was lucky to get such clear weather for the shots. We've had a lot of rain recently and it was fun to get out and do some night photography.

The moon distracting? Not for me. The haziness of the moon gives the overall image a "night time" quality which is ethereal, in addition to a great achitecture shot. These are great shots, and the first and last are outstanding IMO.

These are all cool, Frank. The building in the first shot looks like the sort of place Superman likes to launch from.

Love the first one with and without the moon. Were these part of your "homework" for your class? You are still taking a class, right?
