BBBRRRRRR, gives me chills. I'll be starting spring clean up on my boat on Monday here in Coastal Texas where it will be in the mid 80's F.

I don't like the vignetting, but no matter -- I LOVE this picture.

Well done!

Timeless feel to this one. Looks like it could have come from a 1905 Polar expedition. Good job!

Thanks for all replies! I wasn`t too sure about the vignetting but gave it a chance
Polar expedition? Cool
Sailor; that`s a bit warmer than here, although it`s not really cold now. Approximately 30 degrees fahrenheit if my phone converter did the job right.. We use celsius up here

I wished we used C here in the US (along with the rest of the metric system). Until I retired last week, I was a research chemist/tech leader for 36 years, and thus had to possess a gemini mind. As soon as I stepped into the lab, I thought metric, but had to revert to English units when I returned to the real world. Pretty hard on a simple guy like me. Of course, when I step aboard my boat, I automatically start bellowing the boho nautical stuff like "starbord", "forard" and "leward".

BTW, I ashamed to admit that in my original reply I neglected to mention what a masterful photo you posted to initiate this thread.

As a former fisherman I`m also used to use expressions like "starboard" = "styrbord" in norwegian and
"port" ="babord" in norwegian
Thanks for those kind words considering the photo.
It`s actually taken less than 100 metres from my house.. Like most of my pictures
