A few good reasons to have your camera with you at the airport. Started off by a young eagle in a tree, 2 plane crashes on both runways, unfortunatly only the cherokee pics turned out. I couldnt get in a good spot to get pics of the other airplane. luckily both pilots were ok. The cherokeee flipped over after hitting a ditch. The news chopper had the best view in the house.

Interesting shots.

If you are shooting RAW, number two could do with some exposure adjustment in post processing.

Dale, unfortunately i wasnt. was shooting jpeg, ill try and fiddle around with it see if i can lighten it up some.
iced it was lucky that he wasnt goin all that fast when he hit the ditch.

Yeah, the bird looks a mess, nose wheel taken out. Lucky (unlucky?) landing. Amazing that there was two non optimal landings in the one day!
