Love the contrast and I think a bit of high-octane PP on shots like this is OK - it certainly adds to the drama/impact of the shot and undoubtedly brings us, your viewers, closer to the reality you experienced. Very nice!

PP=Darkroom. I love the way the line of light in the sky mirrors the rift line in the snow with the grass. Sophisticated and perfect.

The crack in the clouds supports nicely the snowline. Maybe that's is one of the reasons why the snow is doing in the right direction.

I really like dramatize some of my photos and bring up the strong sides of photos this way.

I didn't use any filters. All is done in PP.
