Sea of clouds
Posted By: Rense, 03-09-2009, 11:35 AM

As a lowland inhabitant, being above the clouds allways gives me a majestic feeling. This one was made in October 2004 in NE Taiwan, and is again a scan of a slide. Please, let me know if I'm boring you with these oldies .

this is not boring at all. I'm above the clouds regularly but anytime I see a huge layer of cloud with only a few hilltops out I always get exited and try to imagine
the view from there. and I'm always sure that those few on the top are much happier than the rest below

Thanks Georg. Yes, I agree on the heavy black foreground, but I tried cropping, and I couldn't get it the way I wanted, so I decided to leave it in the original state....

The cloud is the main interest in this photo. A stellar image.

Nope I am good no boredom here. A great shot - one wants to dive into the puffy clouds.

Good picture. On a foreground a black looks heavily, among white clouds. What is it a height above a sea level?

Drmartin, thanks for looking. I don't remember the exact level, but it has to be between 1200 and 1500 meters.
