Went to the MBA over the weekend, and thought I'd share some pics for my first post in this section. A lot of them turned out to be too blurry, which I blame on a combination of low light, flash/tripod/monopod not being allowed, uncooperative fish, and newbie shooter. But here are a few I liked:

And a couple outside:

Thanks for looking.

Don't you hate it when the fish don't play nice ! Welcome and a good series. The jelly fish is the best of the bunch.

Very nice series. I have to say I really like something about the smoke stacks. I actually would crop off more of the top (but tha is me) I just like all the lines in it. Again nice work on the series.

I agree #4 jellyfish is a great shot. I was able to go here back in 1997. Did you go to the Bubba Gump Shrimp Factory next door.... shrimp gumbo, shrimp kabobs, sauteed shrimp...hahha

hope you had a good time there though!

ha, "uncooperative fish"...love it!

The jelly shot is dynamite!

And for you landlubbers who may be tempted to say "jellyfish", please be aware the PC police have intervened and renamed the gooey rascals, "jellies". I guess somebody finally determined they are not a fish at all.
Similarly, the echinoderms formerly known as "starfish" now answer to "sea-stars". I guess they are not technically a fish either...

Ironically, last time I checked, a sea horse is still just that and a sea cucumber...well don't get me started...

great shots - any shark photos?
