A BW version of seagulls in morning mist waiting for some morsels to appear as the fishermen get ready to set off. I waited until a few started to fly and land, and this is one I caught in flight. Taken a few years ago in Peggy's Cove. I wanted to retain the lightness of the fog but bring out the expressive tonalities so I opted for BW.

Difficult lighting.
How to capture that feeling of ambiguity and vagueness that mist and fog give to a scene while still retaining enough punch to capture the interest of the eye. A difficult balancing act.
