Great lighting on #4. I really like the idea of #3 should have shot one like that with the same light as #4, cool pier!

ive done similar shots of a local pier like that of#3. very good captures. wonderful lighting.

I like shot number three at cutting of him in the border of posts. It will be steep!!

Great set! I like the last two most, wonderful structure in those kind of piers, in tidal waters, I guess. We don't have tide here so all piers need to adjust just a slight variation of sea levels, cause mainly by wind.

Thanks vdubbin099. Yeah the sunrise (east) was not directlry in front of the pier but my 12-24 could have caught it.

#4 makes it to my 1st choice although all are pleasing shots.

Number 1 and 4 are my favs although all are excellent. The DOF is spectacular...

the 3rd is weakest here, still good but not up to the other three. I love the other three. Nice shots Dave

Thanks Peter. I guess #3 is like a fisheye lens you either like it or not. I am sure that pier has been photographed 10,000 times that month alone - was going for a something a litlle different
