Thanks Dave and Chip for the comments. It was a great day for the beach, clear skys and in the low 80's F. Daytona is about 260 miles south of me and I had the day off from work so I figured what better place to be then somewhere with thousands of bikers of all types.

I love the shot of the green bike with the yellow wheels. The colors are really vivid - did you boost saturation?

I also love the guy on the scooter shot!

The contrast (in so many ways) is striking.

Hi Jer, Thanks for the comments. Other then the ones noted as HDR (pseudo HDR), these are pretty much straight out of the K20. I shoot PEF+ jpg and I quickly PP'd the jpgs with slight levels adjustment for contrast and USM at 12, 50, 1, no saturation added and my K20 is set striaght down the middle. I was shooting with the DA 12-24 in Av and P modes. Oh, and I calibrate my flat screen monthly with a spider...

Thanks Pat, That's one of my favorites too along with the Pro at work. I get good contrast with the DA 12-24 with just a slight levels/USM adjustments.
