I think we were standing in the same spot.

Very nice mark, I like you full fall view better then mine.

I couldn't believe it when I looked in my bag and discovered that I left my 10-20 sitting on the counter at home 300 miles away. 28 was as wide as I could go.

It was my first time there but it wont be my last.

Thanks for posting, it fuels the fire for getting back down there.

John

Great shot Marc! I used to live in Oregon, but regrettably, never visited Multnomah.

Nice shot, it looks a little greener than when I was there a couple of years ago. Must be all the rain they've had this spring.
Everywhere was very green - just before the fall colors though... darn it!@%*$

Beautiful, you have captured the soft silky flow of water with the greenish and dark background.

Spectacular - terrific composition and what looks like super post processing. You gotta be proud of a shot like this one.

Thanks Jer - I am glad you enjoyed this image! We'll see what PPG voting decides too...

Now that is a wall hanger - is that a pano ? Amazing you got it all in one shot. Very well done.
Hi Dave, this is not a pano... Thanks for the kind words!

Interesting shot. Not only does it look good its made better because of the difficulty of shooting it. Read your Exit and very interesting. Well done Marc. The latter just keeps getting higher. JIM
Thanks Jim! I don't recommend F/22 as a general rule of thumb - that was pushing it and I simply wanted a long exposure...

Truly beautiful capture, impeccably composed and executed. One can't help but admire your astute vision, and consistant high quality.

Blue?

Hi Marc,

Please, take this as a constructive comment but your shoot shows a very strong blue cast on my monitor. I dont know if it is intentional. Other than that it is a really nice shoot.

Keep up the good job.

Great idea as I am in the Portland area every month or so. I will have to mark down this location for a fall shot and I will try to use the same 12-24 lens Marc. I noticed the F22 and the very long exposure on your Exit. It was also the -.07 exposure. How many tries to get this shot? JIM

Well done, Marc! Looks like you and hamidlmt are hanging out in the same place, as he posted a shot like this either earlier this month or late Feb. Both are good.

You are right good sir! It's got a blue cast - the result of being in a shadowed area - not uncommon. I added a bit of a warming filter to remove it and replaced the picture in the original post. Please give me your thoughts?

Thanks again for the comments and much appreciated.

Regards,
Marc

Based on my looking at my storage drive right now, I took a total of 4 shots. I took one from near or on the bridge too. I also used a CPL intentionally to drive up the exposure time.

Marc
