Moon Rise 3-10-09

Here is a few from the other night. I should have set up the blinkies. oh well live and learn, next month the moon should be closer to the mountain.

Nice shots. The first 2 especially. I was tempted to try something similar a couple evenings ago but the moon was too high for the glass I have to do it justice.

While I love the second one as well , I really really like all three. Excellent series.

Thanks Venturi, Try again it should be full and on the horizon at dusk about April 9 th depending where your at.

Jim, the weather was great Ok, a little cold. hopefully the weather will cooperate again in a month.

All were shot with the Bigma the 1st and 3rd were shot at 420mm, the second was shot at 98mm.

Thanks. next time I think I will see if I can do smaller shots and stitch them together so I wont have to crop it so much. Weather permitting, I will post some of this scene in about a month.

Quite a sentimental shot. I like the dark/blue surrounding the moon
