ID that Bird

Got this shot with the SMC Pentax M 400/5.6 today. I think it is some sort of Sparrow but will accept other opinions.

Nice shot!! In Europe this would be most certainly the Common House Sparrow, but I'm not an ornitologist, and sparrows come in different sorts, some quite resembling the House Sparrow. So, I'll give my view for a better one!

House Sparrow - the black throat and mostly rufous upper parts, and a single white wing bar...

I thought so but wasn't sure. This is the best yet with the M 400/5.6. Not an APO lens but serviceable.
