I just got a K20 and I'm loving it. 16 images
Posted By: Damn Brit, 03-14-2009, 09:03 PM

I haven't posted any for a while but I have been taking pictures. I recently purchased a K20 and I'm loving it. Is it a good camera or what?
We all know how the K20 performs but I decided to put it through it's paces witha lesser rather than a better lens. The lens I chose is my trusty Tamron 28-300 and these shots are a nice selection to show off the K20s skills.
I hope you enjoy them and I hope it gives an idea of the quality of the output of this camera.

It's well worth looking at the bigger versions and even bigger versions can be found in the Gallery (link in my sig).

Well done Gary,
Lots of great captures here.
The K20D's impressive, as we already know, but the person taking these images made it all happen.

Gary, there are very nice pictures there! But that lens is terrible! There is some severe PF in #12 !

you can see a difference in the noice levels on the shots from your place. I have it on the buy too now that the price has dropped. Nice run through and looks like you will be liking the K20 just fine. JIM
Jim thanks, yes it is pretty noticeable isn't it?

#10 is just perfect!
Shucks, thanks Ole, that is actually one of the first night scenes I've been happy with, it'll be intereswting to see how much better a more capable lens will be.

It's hard to explain just what it is, but I found the picture IQ to be a noticeable step up from the K10D.

Congrats on the purchase!
Thanks and yes, it is a noticeable step up, I guess it's a case of needing to find out for ones self.

Had to go over all your images slowly. I with the dog who looks like he is not too happy that you got a K20D and he didn't! Nice work overall, but I like some of your plant images best and the banana shot.

It's a great camera and you've used to present a great demonstration series. The banana behind the water glass is super.

Fantastic Gary. The K20d makes a difference doesn't it? And why some still consider it a "minor"
upgrade is beyond my understanding. Wonderful captures!
