Random product shots

Made this light setup with the backside of a poster and a flexible desk lamp. Taken with my K100D and kit lens.

Very nice. Can you give some details about your setup?

These are great! I'm not a pro, but in my eye, these could pass for commercial shots. Well, I'd certainly buy the bodyspray, at least.

Nicely done.

If you want to try taking these just a little farther, introduce some small refectors so you can fill in some of the really dark shadows.

Just wait, soon enough you will be buying studio lights .

I have made some small reflectors myself using tinfoil. Simple but effective.

Original Poster
Thanks everyone. I'm still playing around with the lighting. The setup I used was just the backside of a big poster and a flexible low wattage desk lamp.

"Tried and Tested" haha. Yea I like product shots too! Very easy to setup. Theres not chasing the birds around or straining your joints to try to get the flower on the right angle.

Its great too because you choose the background and there's a lot of potential for great punchy contrast.

I like the photo with the LG device on an angle. I thought that looked really good.
