Fisheye @ The Pool
Posted By: daacon, 03-16-2009, 06:43 PM

The fisheye effect is something you either like or not - me well there is no doubt I love it.

Click on image for larger view IF YOU DARE (warning may frighten small children ....I have no shame haha) All the recent weight loss has gone to my head

You can get some decent close up without the distortion if you like. I find it a very versitile and fun lens.

Thansk Scott - I tried everything before , this seems to work consistently regardless of actual size.

That is rather spooky, Dave. Great fun with the FE. This set is even wilder than the older version

Sometimes that lens focuses a little closer than we'd like it to...

Did I not say that you are tempting fate with your titles and antics. I am afraid to click on the image lest the image changes and I see something else I will regret! My son bought a Mac and he does this sort of thing all the time with his software, that's why I don't allow him to take photos of me!

Hey, wait a minute...

Where's the warning NSFW????

I agree with JMR: I was very leary of opening this post, knowing Dave's twisted "I'm off to use my Fish-Eye" mind was at work... I am thinking OMG.... what has Dave done now.... ???

Cool shots Dave!

Cheers,
Marc

And where else would you use a fisheye but the pool.
Good work Dave, I didn't recognise you at first without your mask on.

Scared me and I'm 62 (I don't want to think about effects on little children). Seriously, I love the FE just like you do - maybe a left over from my '60's days. The self portraits are stunning, but the last shot is truly good stuff - very imaginative (remarkable given the likely composition of your blood stream).
