Finally! The Brooklyn Bridge
Posted By: maxwell1295, 03-16-2009, 07:15 PM

I've been meaning to make a trip down to the Brooklyn Bridge for the longest time. I finally made it down there today. Sky was overcast, but I was still able to get a few decent shots off. Still too many images to go through, but here's a little teaser...

Nice capture. I like the sepia tint and the overall mood of the image.

can't say much more, Alan. Composition is delightful and the PP is very well done.

Thanks for the replies...

I really can't take credit for this one. The Brooklyn Bridge is such a great piece of architecture that it can pretty much shoot itself.....and I don't mean that in a Plaxico Burress way. It's just hard to take a bad shot of something so beautiful.

Rarely, if ever do I gush over my own images. I've gushed over many images posted here and on other forums.......just not my own. Even when people close to me tell me how great a photo that I shot looks, I kind of shrug it off thinking that it's not very hard to do what I did to get the shot.

For some reason this shot was different. The more I look at it, the more I say to myself, "Wow! I took that!" I picked up the 12x18 print earlier today and I was floored. It looks so much better in person than it did on the monitor. I've had photos look as good in print but none that I can honestly say look better than they did on the screen. This is the exception.
